The Turnaround jazz Club is now open for Business.

The Turnaround Jazz Club presents 2 bands every Thursday night from 7pm and especially for the musos, a Jazz Jam session starting at 10:30 – 12midnight.

Taking community engagement seriously, the JMI Initiative the Turnaround Jazz Club has a program that is dedicated to showcasing local, interstate and international musicians of all levels. Not only does this club service the client base through performance opportunities, the club creates an excellent engagement with the wider community and as a result lifts the profile of JMI beyond the industry and into the community at large. This also offers students the opportunity for workshops with these visiting musicians and to hear firsthand high level performances of this art form. It also enables JMI students to meet part of the requirements for Concert Performance Practice (CPP) subject.

The Turnaround Jazz Club is renowned for its intimate setting, providing the best opportunity to listen to jazz in Brisbane. The Turnaround has enhanced the setting with a few changes, improving the acoustics and atmosphere.
