Brisbane’s newest jazz club ‘The Turnaround jazz Club’ is now open for Business.
Previously The Jazzworx! Club, The Turnaround Jazz Club will have more music at the same cheap as chips price. The Turnaround Jazz Club presents 2 bands every Thursday night from 7pm and especially for the musos, a Jazz Jam session starting at 10:30 – 12midnight.
The Turnaround Jazz Club is renowned for its intimate setting, providing the best opportunity to listen to jazz in Brisbane. The Turnaround has enhanced the setting with a few changes, improving the acoustics and atmosphere. For the punters, we are also in the process of applying for a liquor license, more to come about that in the weeks ahead.
The Turnaround has already opened doors to the Tom O’Halloran Trio from Perth supported by the Dan Quigley Quartet.
The official launch of ‘The Turnaround Jazz Club’ is on the 11th of August with Dale Barlow supported by Unit 7. You can expect to see and hear more music over the coming months at the Turnaround Jazz Club featuring, the Vince Jones, Steve Brien and Craig Scott, Tom O’Halloran sextet, Fran Swinn, Andrew Shaw’s Roadplant, Sharny Russell.
